Do you have or are you planning to make any new year's resolutions?

Hi. I am planning to shoot a picture a day in 2009 as part of my Photo a Day project. I'm inspired to do this after seeing a member in The Bronx group at flickr.com recently complete her project. I plan to start January 1. Hopefully, I will be able to fulfill my resolution. Wish me luck.

I'll be posting photos at my flickr site at www.flickr.com/photos/clarisel as well as at my photo blog at www.clarisel.blogspot.com.

This year I dedicated a lot of my photography to shooting images of Puerto Rican/Latino cultural events, the Bronx and New York City. I also dedicated a lot of my images to my love for pet photography and nature.

But for the project, I plan to shoot without subject in mind. It will be open-ended. I will shoot whatever moves me, whatever I feel should be the photo of the day.

My name is Clarisel Gonzalez, and I'm a New York City-based freelance journalist, independent producer and active photoblogger.
I'm a veteran journalist with a background as a reporter and an editor.
